So Monday the class got the chance to visit the site! Which I loved! It is in an awesome location with some major potential! I really think I am going to stick with the theme that I am currently rolling with. Earthy and eclectic. Bring the old Bowling Green back using modern touches! I am so excited to get into AUTO cad and make magic! I have a few surprises up my sleeve for the huge space that we are going to be able to work with! The ladies at the site gave some valuable knowledge that I cant wait to put to use!

Names and Logos!

Thought of the day...

So I have decided the hotel type-boutique hotel, the look-eclectic and my target client-middle to higher income levels! I have the layout that I feel will fit the lawn best but I am having trouble with naming the hotel, finding an exterior style that fits the look of the upcoming renovations of Bowling Green. This is the hardest part for me...naming the place and getting a logo started! Here I go, thank god I am not married to it, for a while!

Hotel thoughts...???

So after Travis's hotel presentation I am a little unsure which way I want to go with this hotel and the idea of a name. I want to keep with the whole idea of restoring the "old" part of downtown. But at the same time I want to incorporate the new the modern style of design, because that is something that many people in Bowling Green never get to see and people don't expect to see in Bowling Green. So I am thinking that a boutique style hotel is the path I am choosing to take as of now with an eclectic style with a modern twist. I am not married to it yet so we will see where it goes!
